The Serendipity Experiences designs private journeys across Sri Lanka for travellers who value thoughtful planning, local access and seamless execution. Each itinerary is shaped around pace, preference and purpose — never pulled from a shelf.

Luxury, never pretentious — sophistication in its most honest form.
Brings decades of senior management experience across multiple industries, including real estate, aviation, investment, technology, travel, and hospitality, spanning the UK, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. He has held leadership positions with global organisations such as M&S, Deccan, Hawthorn, HSBC, Best Western, and Expedia. He currently serves as a Board Member or Director of four other companies and an NGO.

With over 16 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, Shaleen possesses extensive expertise in destination management, luxury travel, sales, and operations. Having held senior leadership roles with established travel companies, he has successfully managed both traditional and online travel operations. His career is shaped by a deep knowledge of Sri Lanka, strong industry relationships, and a genuine passion for experiential travel and showcasing the island in an authentic and meaningful way.

Brings over 35 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience. A global entrepreneur, business leader, philanthropist, and Managing Director of Loadstar, he is also the Founder and Chairman of Sail Lanka. He is an accomplished businessman and investor with extensive operations across Europe and Asia.
